Introducing the Hunter Legacy Program!

Are you interested in becoming a skilled hunter, but don't know how to go about it? Do you wish you had someone to teach you how to hunt successfully and responsibly? Well, now is your chance! As you may know, hunting is crucial for conservation and provides state agencies with the necessary funding for wildlife conservation and management. VTTWS is teaming up with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife for the Hunter's Legacy Program.

The goal of the program is to instill a love of hunting and the outdoors in students. Colleges throughout the southeast will be competing against each other to see who can recruit the most new hunters. We will be providing you with a mentored hunt with all of the necessary equipment supplied (there may be a small fee for ammunition). We are planning to go squirrel hunting sometime in October.
